Six early 20th century hair detanglers from Kerala and South Karnataka, India. An unusual group of six hair detanglers found exclusively in Southern India. The carved wooden example seen second from the right has some script characters incised on the right tong. Measures: 8" (20.2 cm) to 11" (28 m) high.
