Japanese Vintage Blue White Porcelain Sculptue, circa 1930

About the Item

Japanese vintage signed porcelain sculpture from early years of Showa period (1926-1989,) dramatically showcasing an eagle resting on a branch. The branch is hand-painted in cobalt blue on white to create the details of the branch. The artist's signature? (Hara) appears on the branch right below the eagle's tail. Dimensions: H 11 in W 11 in D 5 in.

    Wear consistent with age and use. This piece is in very good condition. There is a slight chip at the tip of the right wing, as can be seen in the last two images. There are no cracks or repairs.
