About the Item

A splendid Jun ware porcelain Yu Tang Chun vase. Jun ware, is one of the most important kilns in China. Originated in Tang dynasty, Jun kiln produces the most splendid, free style colors. Porcelains go into the kiln with no color at all, but emerges with fantastic colors, all produced by the pieces' reaction with the kiln's temperature. This beautiful vase is from our treasured Jun collection. The contrasting cherry and lake blue is so pleasant and in such harmony. The Yu Tang Chun style is one of the most classic and timeless.
