A stunning 1940's "De Pinna of New York" designer vibrant lemon yellow rayon-crepe gown from the Old Hollywood era of glamour. The bodice has a classic short cap-sleeve design with a deep v-neck and narrowing hourglass waist. The craftsmanship is breathtaking; hand-set sparkling silver-toned glass beads and rhinestone with a dramatic three-dimensional floral applique. This figure flattering garment accentuates the bust and skims the hip with it's unique belted peplum. Love the seductive front slit. This is the dress you will reach for anytime you want to look and feel like a starlet. The pictures say it all.

This De Pinna of New York designer dress is in excellent condition with no rips, holes or alternations. Perfectly working side metal-zipper. Only signs of age are a few very minor surface spots to the backside and two tiny seed beads missing. This rare garment is over 70 years old and is truly stunning.
