Pernille Lind, is an interior and furniture designer having graduated with a BA (Hons) from The University of Arts London and received an MA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation.
After years of working within hospitality design and high-end private residential and developments, gaining experience from some of the top studios in London such as Anouska Hempel Design, Conran + Partners and Soho House & Co, she set up her first company Lind + Almond, in 2015. The company's inaugural project was Hotel Sanders in Copenhagen, which went to win 'Hotel of the Year' and 'Best Renovation & Restoration' at the AHEAD Europe Awards in 2018.
The studio's design approach is eclectic and often bridges style genres and design eras. Focus on the greater spatial experience as well as the finer details, her designs are personal, atmospheric and curated.
Always considering the project’s context along with the desired guest or client experience, she grounds the designs in familiarity and nostalgia in order to create meaningful spaces, which plays on deeper emotions and sensibilities.
