Matthew Boland was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Raised in Paradise Valley, Matthew attended Brophy College Preparatory before studying Historic Preservation at Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Matthew went on to earn his bachelor’s degree at University of Idaho in Interior Architecture. Now based in Scottsdale, Matthew has been providing a broad-spectrum of design services to a national and international profile of residential and commercial clients for over a decade. In October 2004, House Beautiful Magazine named him one of “America’s Top Young Designers”, inspiring him to open his own design firm.
Since the beginning of his career, Matthew’s work has been profiled in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and other trade publications. He has a passion for architecture, design, and contemporary art that has taken him on countless, international excursions. This curiosity and exposure provides him with a broader understanding of other cultures, styles, and customs; inspiring a deeper repertoire of innovative ideas.
Opening in 2005, MMB Studio, Inc. has experienced steady growth and retained a diverse clientele, seeking an all-encompassing, interior design firm. MMB Studio specializes in residential design, but is also involved with select commercial design, private air crafts and luxury yachts. MMB Studio works all over the United States, Mexico and Canada.
