Joseph Brunner

Austrian, 1826-1893

Joseph Brunner was an Austrian romantic movement artist and painter, born in 1826. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, in Vienna, Austria and traveled all over Europe. On completing his continental journey, he returned to Vienna and specialized in landscape painting. He was one of the favourite artists of the Viennese Royal Family. Joseph predominantly used canvas, wood and oil as the medium to create his artworks.
