This exceptional antique George V sterling silver tea service has been modelled in the Queen Anne style.
The lower portion of each piece is embellished with embossed batwing decoration.
The upper portion of each piece of this silver tea set is plain and unembellished.
The teapot is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover embellished with further batwing decoration to the domed portion and is surmounted with the original carved painted wood and sterling silver fluted, cushion shaped finial.
The teapot retains the original angular carved painted wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece.

This exceptional antique American sterling silver teapot has an oval shaped form.
The surface of this large teapot is embellished with chased decorated floral motifs, segmented with strapwork style borders.
The body is further ornamented with two bands of applied tied reed decoration.
The lower portion of the body is embellished with the contemporary engraved monogram initials 'TBB' to one side; these initials have been created using a characteristic typeface style for the era of the piece.
The upper rim of the teapot is encompassed with an impressive chased lead decorated border.
