George Maudsley Jackson was born in Lewisham in 1856 and died on the 1st of February, 1918. His mark consists of his initials GMJ. Around 1882, Jackson joined the partnership of Josiah Williams & Co. A year later, David Landsborough Fullerton joined the partnership, and the mark GJ, over DF, was used.
