EDWARD EGGLESTON (USA, B. 1882)

Edward Eggleston was an American painter, born in 1882. He specialized in calendar portraits of women, which were fashionable and fantastic. He is best remembered today for his Atlantic City Resort' advertising posters of the 1930s, which all featured stylized opulent bathing beauty pin-up girls.
