The full size outdoor sculpture of 'The Last Two' can be found at St Kilda Beach, Melbourne and depicts the last two Northern White Rhinos on the planet. With the lift on the ban of rhino horns for traditional medicine in China, the plight of the rhino seems to be going from bad to worse. Struggling to leave the threat of extinction behind, the rhino is still being hunted mercilessly by poachers for its priceless horn. Tied to this awful fate, we need to push past this reality, making the world understand the worth of the rhino while it’s still alive, not just for its horn. This sculpture represents the shift of the consciousness of the world, from one of greed and extinction, to one of love and life.
