Shepherds - Set of 2 Etchings - 1760 ca.

About the Item

Shepherd has included two pieces of original etching artworks on the top and lower of the sheet with the same subject, realized by an Anonymous artist in the XVIII century, 1760 ca. The State of preservation is good with the small missing of paper on the lower left. Included a Passepartout: 48 x 32.5 cm The artwork represents a scenery of shepherd while playing music, through delicate and precise strokes. The beauty and simplicity of the chosen subject with the mastery of artist in creating an emotionally pleasurable scene made its poetical artwork admirable.
