Shelley Dyer-Gibbins
Night In - Stiletto Heels, Sex Appeal and Pop Art: Acrylic & Linocut Print

2021

About the Item

Originally from Dorset, Shelley moved to Somerset 17 years ago after starting her design career in London. She studied a Bachelor of Honours Arts Degree in Graphic Design at Exeter College of Art and Design. Since then she has worked in the design industry for more than 20 years for clients such as Yo! Sushi, Usborne, Audi, Porsche and Lloyds. After her father died, she discovered his old carving tools, some of which were for lino. Using them, she began to experiment with cuts and mark making, being self taught in this craft. All of her prints are handmade, making each piece totally unique. She only produces a small number of original prints and uses a block method as it allows for more experimentation. Shelley is fast becoming one of the new and exciting emerging artists of her craft in recent years.
