About
Lovely 19th century French lithograph by Eugene Ciceri, who came from an extended family of well known artists. Ciceri's early works were primarily of landscapes from French Territories. His later works were mainly lithographs of rural French landscapes. His works are on display in many galleries throughout the world including The Louvre, The National Gallery in Berlin, and The Getty Museum in Los Angeles.
Luz-Saint-Sauveur is set in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Hautes-Pyrenees. Close to the Col du Tourmalet, Luz-Saint-Sauveur is frequently on the route of the Tour de France. It is also a haven for skiers in winter with the nearby ski resort of Luz Ardiden. Luz-Saint-Sauveur is a village where life is pleasant throughout the year. and maintains a picturesque character and charm.
