Etching, wide margins, hand-numbered and hand-signed with pencil on lower-right margin. Edition of 5 prints. In excellent condition.
Wonderful print by the Italian Modern artist, the new interpreter of the Caravaggio's School, Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni, representing Salomè and the episode of the beheading told by Mark and Matthiew in the Gospel.
In Good condition, except some ripples on left and right margins at the center, and a little piece of scotch along the marginal lower line of the matrix.
Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni (1934-2000) was an Italian painter and engraver. He was an exponent of the Neo-figurative movement that followed stylistically the Italian painting tradition, in particular Mannerism and Baroque.

On the higher left, there are some indications written in pencil for the print: “157 imprimes / 27 imprimes / + 2 sans numerò”. On the higher right, still in pencil, “Modéle 75 épreuves” is written. Amandine Doré (Paris, 1912-2011) is one of the pseudonyms of Odette Amandine Bonne, who signed also as “Aurèa” or “Madame”, according to the type of subject matter of her artworks.
