Eros Vanné (Eros in a Bad Shape) is an original offset realized after Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec in 1970. Limited edition of 1000.
Very good conditions, except for some folding along the margins.
Here the artwork represents a couple and a kid with a broken leg. The artwork is depicted skillfully through confident and soft strokes in a well-balanced composition.
Henri de Tolouse-Lautrec (1864-1901), Lautrec is one of the main representatives of the French Art Movement Post-Impressionism. Whit the opening of the Moulin Rouge cabaret, Toulouse Lautrec produced a series of posters. He was fully integrated to the bohemian world and spent time a lot of time in dance halls, nightclubs, and cabarets. Lautrec became famous in the entertainment industry and was often commissioned to advertise famous performers. Between sadness and entertainment, he painted dancehall performers and prostitutes.
