About the Item
ABOUT THIS PIECE: "This particular series is a an homage to photographs taken with film. They are the result of an aberration of light passing through a locked shutter and the camera failing to advance because it's the last frame on the roll of film. This inability to advance while light continues to seep through is what creates the beautifully organic blending of colors."-Karl Wolfgang
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Karl Wolfgang is a an LA based photographer. A fan of film based photography, Karl experiments and pushes the limits set by using film. All of his beautiful abstract images are chosen for their organic and ethereal connection to nature.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

- Red and Pink CircleBy Ruth AdlerLocated in New York, NYABOUT THIS PIECE: Color is the foundation of my work. My circles start as a mood or idea that eventually evolves into a colored circle. I am curious how different colours interact when they're placed next to each other. I experiment with intensity of colours and the different sensations colours evoke. Why a Circle? When I explore my fascination with this shape I discover that the circle represents all that is familiar and comforting. It is the shape of the rising sun, of a mother's nipple, of the iris of the eye, and of a full moon. I use the latest digital technology as a medium to create my circles. ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Ruth Adler is a Canadian artist whose mediums include paintings, works on paper, animated films and textiles. She is inspired by the city of Tel Aviv, music (she plays the harmonica) and her personal memories. Jim Kempner Fine Art...Category

- STOLESLocated in New York, NYABOUT THIS PIECE: “My main focus is on painting, but whenever an idea or a thought can be better conveyed in another medium I can switch to photography, sculpture or embroidery. I like this contradiction of bringing new media or ideas together with old, traditional techniques and tools. We live in a time where images are created and deleted in seconds, and there are more of them than ever before. I'm interested in dealing with this topic in my artistic practice, using an old, traditional and “slow” medium like painting. How can volatility get depicted and how can the aesthetics of a digital medium be represented visually? Painting finds possibilities of translation and has the ability to react to the flood of pictures - and this also applies to both, the artist and the viewer - with calm and contemplation!” - Gabi Mitterer ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Gabi Mitterer is based in Austria and studied Painting and Transmedia Art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. As a multi-discipline artist with a focus on painting, her work ranges from the influences of digital aesthetics through concrete, constructive art...Category
