About the Item
ABOUT THIS PIECE: “Liquid Mirrors” is an ongoing project— started in late 2012— where I use mylar to photograph the reflections of my subjects. I am mimicking the medium of oil painting through a digital practice, while speaking about reflections and how they distort our perceptions of reality. Crafting these images sparked my experimentation with layering subjects in front of my lens to create quizzically surreal photographs without the use of Photoshop.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: New York City based photographer Jordan Tiberio is more of a scientist than a photographer whose subjects gently blossom underneath the “lens” of her microscope. She discovers things otherwise unseen, buried, emotions so small you can feel her holding her breath as she observes them. Like magnified images of sand particles, her subjects are at once exquisite and otherworldly, but unlike the cold images of a scientist, Tiberio’s works are charged with affection, pulling her viewer into her blanket of empathy, even in her still-life images. She received her BFA in photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2015, prior to that her work had already been the recipient of numerous awards and appeared in several magazines online and in print, such as The Huffington Post, Dazed, and i-D magazine.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

- Sweet CandyBy Ruth AdlerLocated in New York, NYABOUT THIS PIECE: Color is the foundation of this Canadian artist's work. Her circles start as a mood or idea that eventually evolve into a colored circle. She is curious how different colors interact when they're placed next to each other. Within a digital medium she experiments with intensity of colors and the different sensations colors evoke. Why a circle? When she explores her fascination with this shape, she discovers that the circle represents all that is familiar and comforting. It is the shape of the rising sun, of a mother's nipple, of the iris of the eye, and of a full moon. ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Ruth Adler is a Canadian artist whose mediums include paintings, works on paper, animated films and textiles. She is inspired by the city of Tel Aviv, music (she plays the harmonica) and her personal memories. Jim Kempner Fine Art...Category

In his vision, the line reflects a shelf with the object on top, by adding the weight to it, the gravity pushing them down. The feeling of 'sensation' of the ATO>MIC prints, the sharpness of the forms, the intensity defying its size to condensed 9 x 7 inches' paper, make it all the more dramatic to look at. It takes the viewer to another level of fantastical world of creation." About the Artist: Michael G Jackson...Category
