About
The paintings of Ceravolo have received international acclaim for more four decades. His art, came to popular attention in the 1970's, when he was commissioned to create five large scale oil on canvas portraits for the lobby of The Palladium Theatre in New York City of Frank Zappa, Jackson Browne, Linda Rondstadt, Neil Young and Hall and Oates. In addition to those, his paintings are in many influential corporate and private collections, including: ELTON JOHN, ROD STEWART, HUGH M. HEFNER, DAVID BRENNER, MONIQUE VAN VOOREN, WARNER BROS., RCA RECORDS AND SCHENLEY INDUSTRIES to name a few.
This vintage image photographed circa 40 years ago in the 1980's by Ceravolo is titled "Sunglasses and Diamonds Profile". The model was photographed by Ceravolo with B&W Tri-X film and developed by him in his darkroom. In 2020, he has added color and a speckled pattern to his photo and then printed it on 100% rag paper in a limited edition of only 25 pieces. The image is framed, signed and numbered by Ceravolo in pencil on the front. Framed size is approx 24x21". Paper size 13x10". This work is numbered 1/25 and comes with a signed certificate stating its authenticity.
