Here, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Ralph Abernathy and Sammy Davis Jr. share a laugh - civil rights icons sharing a light moment from stress of the work they were doing. This photo captures a moment in time and shows another side of them. After this event, there was an evening reception for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, attended by many Hollywood figures regardless of race.
