Artist's biographical label on verso reads:
Les Bullene's study of the Flemish masters such as Van Dycke initiated his appreciation of the still life form and its integral intensity as a form of expression. He has since developed into a fine artist of the super realist movement.
Les Bullene's distinctive style combines a masterful use of color with fine, intricate detail. His floral compositions, pleasingly cool and refreshing , radiate with the beauty of nature. His still life compositions are strikingly realistic, almost alive with energy absorbed from the artist's brush.
Les Bullene's unique ability to paint with warmth and realism establishes him as one of the best in the elite group of successful still life artists. Consequently, his works are sought by art directors for galleries and private collections throughout the United States and Canada.
