An oil painting of sardines on a round white plate. Painted from direct observation, using classical academic painting methods. Small colorful brushstrokes make up scaly metallic fishes, which glisten atop a simple white plate.
Framed in a handmade Italian black wood frame.
Amy Florence (b.1989) is a London born artist working out of her studio in Florence, Italy. She trained at the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence where she went on to teach the advanced painting and drawing programs for 5 years. In November 2014 she set up Studio Donatello. Now, she divides her time between painting and commissions.
