"Striking" Geometric Surrealist Landscape in Acrylic on Canvas Bright and lively surrealist landscape by Randy Dunham (American, b. 1961). A sphere of water takes center stage in this composition, struck by a ray of light that transforms into a lightning bolt. The sphere reflects a stark landscape consisting of mountains reflected in a body of still water. The same landscape is visible surrounding the sphere at the horizon. Various other geometric shapes surround the sphere, tearing through the sky and casting shadows across the water. Signed and dated "Randy Dunham © Aug 03" in the lower right corner. Board size: 20.5"H x 25.75"W Honora Berg (American, 1897-1985) was an Abstract Expressionist and Bay Area Figurative School artist who studied at the San Francisco Art Institute with David Park, Elmer Bischoff and James Budd Dixon. Berg's friend Edith Truesdell — David Park's aunt — suggested a move to California in 1951 to study under Park. Surrealist Landscape with Feathered Object in Acrylic, Paper, and Gold Leaf Vibrant and colorful surrealist landscape by Oregon artist Hugh Webb (American, b. 1940). The main subject of this piece is a large Y-shaped object that appears to be covered in feathers created out of small ovals of paper. The landscape is comprised of a striped ground, with wispy blue tree-like object emerging from holes in the ground. Squares of pastel blue, teal, and pink float throughout the scene.
