This early 1983 abstracted landscape in oil is by Los Angeles artist, violin prodigy, and actor Schuyler Standish (1927-2010). As a child actor, Standish had roles in several Hollywood films during the early 1940s. During WWII, Standish entertained troops during WWII in Bobby Byrne's band. He was an art teacher in Los Angeles for thirty years and exhibited at the Falk-Raboff Gallery in L.A (1954), LACMA (1959), and the Riverside Art Museum (2010).
Ships in mat to fit standard sized frame.
Signed lower right outside of image area. Excellent vintage condition.
