Dutch artist Louis Stütterheim was born in 1873 in Rotterdam. His full name was Lodewijk Philippus Stütterheim. Stütterheim started painting at the age of 15. Oehmig's works are infused with light and color, and his painterly style is well suited to capturing the natural landscape throughout Maine, along the Eastern seaboard, and the French and Italian countryside.
