- ANNA CATERINA GILLI or GILLI Anna Caterina Turin 1729- 1751 Her paintings recorded in Turin as a decorative artist for the Royal Palace and the Stupinigi, working in a similar manner to Michele Antonio Rapos. Extraordinary pair of still life paintings of flowers, antique Italian 18th century with original hand- painted frames. This pair is an excellent example of the Italian trend of emulating the Flemish still life tradition from the Dutch Golden Age.
