Surrealist painting with a mummified figure and three sentinels looking upon the mummified figure. The work is framed in a wooden frame. The canvas is signed and dated by the artist in the bottom corner. Dimensions without Frame: H 33 in x W 45 in x D 1 in. Artist Biography: Scott Woodard is a local Houston, Tx artist who has exhibited in a variety of Houston galleries since 2007. He was a regular at the annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit put on by the Lawndale Art Center through the mid to late 2000s. While his work had been focused on sepia tones, he has recently taken his art in a new direction exploring pastel surrealist landscapes.
