Vintage 1970 painting by Colorado artist, Edward Marecak (1919-1993), of a woman representing Demeter (the goddess of horticulture), holding a bowl of fruit and a bouquet of flowers surrounded by semi-abstract trees in bright colors of yellow, orange, blue, green and red with pink and purple. Oil on burlap. Presented in a custom frame, outer dimensions measure 48 ½ x 36 ½ x 1 ¾ inches. Image size is 48 x 35 ¾ inches. Provenance: Estate of Edward Marecak
