About

Dinner Date was conceived during a nature walk along the Balboa Park area of San Diego, specifically underneath a bridge leading to the park. This day, Ben Darby sought to enjoy a walk and came across an area with rusty metal, flowers, and small animals. He translated the scene into this painting with acrylic paint. The look and feel is entirely that of one scene encountered by many out for a walk in the woods. The scene resonates as that of a summer day. An original artwork by the artist, acrylic on canvas, signed on reverse.
