"SHHH" is a contemporary abstract oil painting with pastel pink blue, green, pink, and violet lines on a yellow ground. This painting is signed and dated on the back. It is framed in a simple, contemporary natural maple floater frame.

Alter is an award-winning artist who has exhibited his work at Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood, NJ; Main Line Art Center in Haverford, PA; and Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia, PA. His paintings can be found in the permanent collections of Woodmere Art Museum, the Fox School of Business, the Gittis Student Center, and the Charles Library at Temple University. They can also be found in numerous private collections.
