Il Faut Visiter l'Exposition Surrealiste

About

Invitation by Max Ernst to the Surrealist Exhibition, held from the 7th to the 18th of June 1933 in Paris, in Galerie Pierre Colle. The exhibition has represented a milestone and a turning point in the art of the period, as well as in the aesthetic view of several artists, like Breton. The exhibition is also important because it was the first time in which Alberto Giacometti joined the surrealist group that included Dalì, Duchamp, Crevel, Eluard, Mirò, Picasso and others. The invitation is a very rare and relevant collectible, including the famous "ET" printed in red, as well as the Max Ernst gouached fingerprints. Perfect conditions. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
