"Wash Over", 2020, hand dyed Alpaca wool, hand carved driftwood, wire, shiny metallic copper spacers and copper pole, thin natural color jute rope, decorative wall hanging. Black, dark gray, light gray, and white hand dyed wool. Found driftwood hand carved by the artist brings out the natural rust red of the wood. Beautiful textile art by emerging fiber artist Jacie Jane. Her wall hangings are unique, each with gorgeous and individualized compositions. She loves using found objects from nature as well as materials often used for other purposes to make her work. She focuses on sustainable materials.
