J.B. Thompson (American, 1932-1984)
Fantastic pencil signed and numbered mixed media etching with sculptural copper and aquatint by listed artist J.B. Thompson.
From a limited edition of 125. This is numbered 46. Signed lower right.
Dimensions 30" x 23". The frame measures 38.5" x 32".
Very nice vintage condition. Lightly distressed period frame.
J.B. Thompson studied at the University of Oklahoma, Mexico City College, University of California at Long Beach.
He was listed as a guest artist at the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles in 1968, and the Art Center of College Design in Los Angeles in 1971.
He is also listed int he Who's Who in America in 1979.
This is a fine opportunity to acquire a rare piece by this talented artist.
