Georges Monfils
That's All Folks, Wood Sculpture and Acrylic Paint

2020

About the Item

"That's All Folks" is a unique mixed media sculpture by Belgian artist Georges Monfils. He used hand carved wood and acrylic paint to create this sculpture. He re-purposes materials like vinyl records and keyboard keys into sustainable concepts and creations exhibiting his iconic Pop Nouveau style: a stark departure from the mass-produced, factory pop world into a radical, avant-garde haven where true originality is born. Monfils focuses on sculpting universal pop culture icons that are instantly recognizable to all, while simultaneously invoking a sense of wonder and curiosity about how they are constructed.
