About the Item

"Easy does it" Artist : DHDLP 2020 Original paper collage 29 cm x 22 cm Selling price: 190 euros Born in 1968, Delphine Housard de La Potterie was first a lawyer before becoming an artist. Those two professions far from being antagonistic, have in common imagination and the power of words. For personal reasons, dhdlp moved to Hong-Kong, then London, where she decided to change career path and to study Design. She developed a passion for colours and shapes, which led her to become an Interior Designer. In her new job, dhdlp started creating moodboards which initiated her love for collage. Fully aware on how colours and words can impact people, her collages are the means by which she expresses herself. Like witnesses of a world in perpetual motion, her collages are comparable to newspapers articles narrating our time and can be interpreted as satire of modern society.
