Artist Comments
"Luminosity is one aspect of color that I think is so magical," says Grace. "Color inspired the overall atmosphere in this work and how I wanted to represent the figures." Inspired by a smaller collage, Grace enlarged and painted the fragments with washes of paint while trying to maintain the color of the paper at the same time. She worked to create an ethereal feeling by using delicate, transparent washes that almost disappear from view. Framed in a 2" thick wooden frame and finished on the back with brown paper backing. The dimension of the art include the frame.
