About the Item
This is a mixed media work on paper. The pictorial space is bifurcated in two, each space extending beyond the page. One space is a blend of blue and turquoise; the other space is yellow with a stream down the middle in brown and red. Sold unframed, this piece is suitable for floating when framed. The artist has signed it on the front and has given it an extended Afro-cuban title on the back.
Since arriving in New York City from Cuba in the mid 1990’s, Alexis Medoza has carved a path as a painter, art writer, and independent curator. He trained as a conservator and graduated from college in Havana. He exhibits in museums and galleries worldwide.

Using rich blues, the landscape expands into the brighter hues in the sky which mixed together give a sense of mist. This watercolor is signed by the artist, and will be sold framed. - Broken Heart BluesBy Mark LemboLocated in Boston, MAAbout the piece: Oddly enough, I was quite happy that day. Words that describe this piece:outsider, blue, monochrome, action, dynamic Artist Biography: Mark A. Lembo Script M Abstract Art Mark’s dynamic work blurs the distinction between alcohol ink and watercolor - working with dyes, inks, liquid acrylic, liquid watercolor, and other aqueous media; lately, he has been incorporating metallic watercolor and pearlescent ink to his work. He has used canvas, synthetic Yupo™ paper, Yasutomo Mineral Paper, and various watercolor papers. Mark’s journey into the world of creative arts started with the question, “What would Jackson Pollock’s work look like if he had used transparent watercolors?” So, it was out with the pencils, pens, and brushes, and on to the pouring of various aqueous solutions. While mostly self-taught, Mark took a series of classes at the Creative Arts Group, Sierra Madre, CA, under Joe Stoddard, as well as seminars with Robert Burridge...Category
