Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller circa 1950-52 , a second series ESU ( Eames Storage Unit) from the large 400 series , chrome plated steel framework , 11 birch ply fronted drawers to bottom 2 levels , open level framed with x braces and upper level of white sliding lacquered masonite doors . Sides and back encased by further black , white and grey masonite panels . Drawer handles in black . Upper left retains the rare door stopping fixture almost always missing from these units and shown in image 6 .
