Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of 1stDibs, David Rosenblatt draws on his extensive industry experience and entrepreneurial spirit to create a digital platform that inspires and excites the luxury shopper.
Prior to his position at 1stDibs, David served from 2004 until 2008 as CEO of DoubleClick — the leading provider of online marketing technology and services — where he contributed to the digital migration of the advertising industry.
David sold the company to Google in 2008. Following the acquisition, he stayed on as Google’s President of Global Display Advertising through 2009.
David serves on the boards of Twitter, IAC and Farfetch.
Chief People Officer
As the Chief People Officer at 1stDibs, Alison oversees all people functions for the company, with a focus on aligning the business strategy with the people strategy and creating a great employee experience.
Alison has held people leadership roles in such tech companies as Amazon Web Services; Shopbop, an Amazon company; and Shutterstock. Prior to her time in tech, Alison worked in the investment banking industry, initially focusing on diversity and inclusion and later moving to focus on strategic business partnerships.
Alison holds a BA in psychology from American University and an MS in industrial and organizational psychology from Baruch College. She has also completed a certification in organizational coaching at NYU.

As the Chief Marketing Officer at 1stDibs, Nancy oversees all marketing functions for the company, including Brand, Customer Acquisition, Retention and Merchandising.
Nancy has held marketing and business leadership roles at such digital brands as Soundcloud, PayPal Credit and Audible, an Amazon company. Prior to her time in the digital space, she spent more than a decade at American Express, where she held multiple marketing and general management positions, including Vice President of Customer Acquisition and Vice President/GM of Strategic Card Partnerships. Throughout her career, Nancy has worked to support the growth of creators and makers, small businesses and female entrepreneurs.
Prior to her career in business, Nancy practiced law at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and worked in the arts. A graduate of New York University School of Law and Bowdoin College, she lives in Brooklyn with her family.

As Chief Technology Officer at 1stDibs, Ross is responsible for building and maintaining the scalable systems necessary for the company’s rapidly growing business.
Ross joined 1stDibs from MLB.com, where he served as Vice President of Engineering, helping to develop innovative programs like its stat-casting application, real-time pitch classifier and live mobile streaming-video platform, as well as products for connected devices, including video game consoles, Roku and Internet-enabled TVs. Previously, he worked for Lockheed Martin’s Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.

Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer at 1stDibs, Sarah Liebel oversees sales and operations teams at the company, including Customer Experience, Logistics, Business Operations, Trade & Private Client sales.
Prior to joining 1stDibs in 2015, Sarah was most recently at Groupon, a global e-commerce marketplace focused on supply from small businesses, where she held a number of roles, including leading deals on the corporate development team, to her last role running sales and operations at ideeli, a fashion flash-sales e-commerce site that Groupon acquired. Prior to her tenure at Groupon Sarah held a variety of finance, strategy and operations positions at numerous technology companies.
Sarah holds a BS from Tulane University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.

Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer at 1stDibs, Tu is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial strategy and investment allocation. She also leads its capital-raising and M&A efforts, including the recent acquisition of Design Manager.
Prior to joining 1stDibs, Tu was with the Strategy Consulting practice at Deloitte London. She advised major financial institutions and government agencies across Europe and Asia on market-entry strategy, M&A, financial transformation and financial regulations and policy.
Tu holds a BS from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

As Chief Product Officer at 1stDibs, Xiaodi Zhang oversees the company’s product-strategy-and-management, user-experience, site-design and item-quality teams.
Before joining 1stDibs, Xiaodi was the Senior Director of Product at Gilt Groupe, where she helped launch several site initiatives that resulted in a significant increase in purchase conversion and inventory sell-through. Prior to that, Xiaodi spent six years at eBay in various leadership roles throughout the company’s Buyer Experience, Search and eBay China divisions, where she helped launch numerous key products across all of eBay’s 37 markets.
Anthony Barzilay Freund
As 1stDibs’ Editorial Director, Anthony Barzilay Freund oversees all digital and print content, including 1stDibs’ weekly Introspective magazine, The Study blog and The 1stDibs 50, an annual celebration of interior design’s most compelling talents. He also serves as 1stDibs’ Director of Fine Art. Prior to joining 1stDibs in 2010, Tony was Editor in Chief of Art+Auction magazine and, before that, the longtime Arts and Culture Editor at Town & Country.

Matt has extensive experience working with great entrepreneurs to build lasting consumer Internet companies, having served in senior management roles at Facebook and LinkedIn. Before LinkedIn, he was a consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Silicon Valley office and worked in Beijing for AsiaInfo, the telecom solutions provider that built China’s Internet infrastructure, prior to the company’s initial public offering.

Deven is a managing director at Insight Venture Partners, which he joined in 2000. He manages investments in e-commerce, consumer Internet data and application software globally. Notable companies for Deven include Buddy Media, Chegg, Football Fanatics, Media Mind, Procuri, Russian Trading System, Tumblr, Website Pros, Alibaba and Twitter.
Deven was selected for the 2014 and 2015 Forbes Midas Lists. In 2014, he was selected by AlwaysOn as a Venture Captial winner. Deven was part of a 2010 U.S. delegation that visited Russia to explore investment and technology collaboration opportunities and currently is a member of the Technical Advisory Council of the FCC. Previously, he served as a member of the Advisory Board of the U.S. Export-Import Bank. Deven is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of New York and the Greater NY Partnership. In 2014, President Obama nominated Deven to be on the board of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Deven received a BS in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
